About submitting your IHSS timesheet

Never submit for more hours than appear on your timesheet, or they will basically ignore your timesheet.
Be sure both areas for signature are signed. You are the "Provider"; Your consumer is the "Recepient". Trudy or Jarhari will sign IHSS timesheets.
Mail your timesheet immediately after the period ends. Delays in sending in your timesheet will delay your next timesheet arrival.

Valley Health Plan http://www.sccgov.org/portal/site/vhp/

IHSS workers must work at least 35 hours to qualify for health, dental & vision insurance. Following 2 months of employment, a worker may then apply for benefits through the Public Authority (first on list above). So, it is usually 3 months of employment prior to benefits kicking in. The montly cost is $8 a month which you must request to be deducted from your paycheck.
